Pick your deployment
Which URL you use depends on your series and how your team runs P1TS - see
Compare and Deployment for the difference between
P1TS Cloud and P1TS IMSA Pitwall. Each team/series has its own address, for
example usac.p1ts.com or sro.p1ts.com; a Pitwall install is served from a
PC on your own pitwall LAN instead. There's no series picker inside the app -
the URL (or LAN address) you open determines which series's timing feed you
see.
Log in
Open your P1TS URL and sign in with your P1TS username and password. Contact P1TS if you need a trial login.
The Welcome Wizard
The first time StratX starts in a browser session, a Welcome dialog walks you through the settings that drive highlighting throughout the app:
- Hero car - your car's number. Every panel highlights this car.
- Green flag lap time, as
mm:ss(e.g.1:44) - used to size some time-based displays. - Hero pitstop ghost, an optional trailing offset in seconds, used by the gap chart.
Click OK to save and start using StratX. If you'd rather not see the wizard again, uncheck Show Welcome in General Settings
- it only reappears once per browser session by default.
Hero, sister, and follow cars
Beyond the wizard, the same settings live in the Settings tab (open it from the Settings button in the app bar) under General Settings:
- Hero Car - a single car number. This is your car, and drives the purple/hero highlighting used across every panel.
- Sister Cars - a comma-separated list of teammate cars (e.g.
10, 11), highlighted alongside the hero car. - Follow Cars - a comma-separated list of other cars you want to track closely, such as class rivals.
Each field also has a car picker next to it so you can select from the current entry list instead of typing numbers.
